Parents of Gemar, Neufeld, Williamson speak to Matt Lauer

Thursday, the Today Show had a segment featuring all six parents of Kyrstin Gemar, Ashley Neufeld and Afton Williamson. Watch it below.

Ribbon made by a friend of mine

This is a decal created by my friend and DSU employee Jay Danbom to honor Ashley Neufeld, Kyrstin Gemar and Afton Williamson. Danbom said his rec hockey team will be wearing them during their game at 9 p.m. tonight at the Dickinson Recreation Center.

I know the football team is searching for some way to honor the women. In my mind, this is perfect.

Note that Neufeld’s initials and number are in red because she is a Canadian. Danbom said several players on his hockey team are Canadian and many knew Neufeld well.

This is just another sign of support by the community.
